Tmatch is a service provided by Tmind AI. This page explains how our AI Case Manager, Tracy, and our therapist-matching services work, including their scope and limitations.

1. Use of AI Case Manager (“Tracy”)

Tmatch uses an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Case Manager named Tracy to support the intake and therapist-matching process.

Please note:

  • Not a Human:
    Tracy is an automated system, not a person or licensed mental health professional.
  • Not Therapy:
    Interactions with Tracy are for intake, organization, and matching purposes only. Tracy does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • No Clinical Judgment:
    Tracy cannot assess clinical risk, determine severity, provide medical advice, or intervene in crisis situations.
  • AI Limitations:
    AI-generated responses or summaries may be incomplete, imperfect, or inaccurate and should not be considered clinical judgment.

2. Intake Information & Data Processing

During your interaction with Tracy:

  • Information you share may include mental health concerns, therapy preferences, and background details.
  • This information is analyzed to:
    • Organize your intake
    • Generate a non-diagnostic summary to support therapist matching
    • Identify therapists whose specialties, availability, and credentials align with your needs

This summary is not a clinical assessment. It is intended to help your therapist better understand your goals and background before your first session.

3. Therapist Matching

  • Tmatch uses your intake data to suggest therapists based on factors such as licensure, specialties, location, language, insurance, and availability.
  • Matching is algorithm-assisted and does not guarantee therapeutic fit or clinical outcomes.
  • You are free to accept, decline, or request a different match at any time.

4. Data Privacy & Security

  • Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable HIPAA requirements.
  • Tmatch uses encryption and access controls to protect your data.
  • Your intake summary will only be shared with the therapist you are matched with.
  • De-identified data may be used to improve the platform. We do not train AI on identifiable data without your explicit consent.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Decline to use Tracy and request an alternative intake process
  • Review, correct, or request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time by contacting us

6. Emergency Situations

Tracy is not equipped to handle emergencies. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis:

  • Call 911
  • Contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988)
  • Go to your nearest emergency room
